Tanner & Emily Taff

We joined Mercy Air in November 2024, moving from our home in Alaska to South Africa. Mercy Air exists to serve those who serve through providing air transport to missionaries and non-governmental organizations who serve the poor and impoverished of Southern Africa by transporting work groups, doctors, humanitarian aid and missionaries. 

Tanner is a pilot flying the Kodiak 100. When not flying, he is busy maintaining the facilities, which are in constant demand around the base.

Emily is a stay-at-home mom, with two little boys, and a third baby on the way. Aside from being a mom, she occasionally helps out with the hospitality side of Mercy Air, where missionaries or work groups passing through the area are provided rest and refreshment before heading on their way.
