Tanner & Emily Taff

Tanner: “I had a Christian upbringing and accepted Jesus as a child. It wasn’t until my high school years I was able to understand and develop my personal relationship with Christ. Since then, my relationship has been tested on numerous occasions but through trials I remind myself, 1 Cor. 16:13-14, “Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.”

Emily: “I accepted Christ as my Savior at a young age. In high school and into my college years, God allowed me to walk through significant physical and spiritual trials, which He has used to draw me into a deeper understanding of Who He is and what He has done through the cross. Gal. 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ Who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

A Jesus Mission is our sending organization as we head to White River, South Africa in November, 2024 to serve with Mercy Air. Mercy Air is a small operation that serves missionaries and NGOs by reliably flying aid and support throughout rural southern Africa. They also provide mission guest housing for missionaries coming from hot and dusty areas for rest and recuperation, doctor appointments, waiting for babies to be born, shopping, and more. As a commercially trained pilot, Tanner will be flying their airplanes, and when not flying, he will be keeping up on maintenance on the farm. Emily will help with the mission guest house ministry or wherever else needed. We aim to be involved wherever we are, whether that here in the States, or overseas, being engaged in speaking the truth in love to the world and ministering to fellow saints. We believe that God is calling us to serve Him in South Africa where our main focus will be supporting and equipping missionaries on the frontlines in southern African areas as they seek the lost.
