A Jesus Mission

From the River to the Calling

When I was thirteen, I was swept away by a swollen river and nearly drowned. As the current pulled me under, I was certain my life was about to end. In that moment, I realized how fragile life truly is. Though I survived, I could not escape the questions that followed: Why was I spared? What was the purpose of my life?

God answered that search through a teacher at my school who shared how Jesus Christ had transformed his life. His story deeply moved me, and through his witness, I came to know Christ personally. For the first time, I experienced true peace, forgiveness, and hope. Despite opposition and hardship, I knew my life now had purpose.

Years later, I got an opportunity to study in the United States. There, believers invested in my life and helped me grow spiritually. Through mission training and prayer, it became increasingly clear—that I was to return to my own country and serve Him.

Today, I serve alongside a dedicated team to meet both spiritual and physical needs of people in this part of South Asia.

First, we translate and publish Christ-centered books to strengthen believers. These are distributed through bookstores, churches, and online platforms, and are also provided free to prisoners. As a result, biblical truth is reaching even isolated  and remote areas,  encouraging believers in their faith.

Second, we provide free and low-cost healthcare to underserved communities. Through medical camps, medicine distribution, and health education, many who could never afford treatment are receiving compassionate care. During the COVID pandemic alone, our team served more than 200 patients, bringing both physical help and renewed hope.

Third, and most importantly, we are working to make churches and Christian communities legally secure by providing legal assistance at a time when the government is seeking to restrict Christian activities. So far, we have helped several churches and Christian organizations obtain “Religious Trust” registration, granting them legal recognition and permanence.

Looking back, I believe God spared my life in that river for this purpose.

Your partnership can help bring life-giving truth and compassionate care to many more who are still waiting for hope.
