We first met in a missions gap-year program in 2022. After getting married in 2025, we knew the Lord had placed a calling upon our lives; a call to love and serve His people through ministry. As we prayed about where the Lord might have us, the people of Romania were brought to our hearts, specifically the city of Cluj-Napoca.
During the gap year program mentioned above I, Lane, visited missionaries in Romania and assisted with their outreach ministries. In the Spring of 2026, my wife and I were blessed to make another trip to Romania to meet contacts as well as begin planning our launch. As a result of these visits, not only has the Lord confirmed our calling while providing amazing resources and support, but He has also revealed the spiritual landscape of the country. Romania is unique in that 81.9% of its people identify as Eastern Orthodox Christians. However most are “culturally Orthodox”, meaning they attend church and practice religion purely out of tradition rather than authentic faith. We see this as an opportunity to invite questions and reach the lost by living as Christ lived, praying that His light shines through us to awaken their hearts.
