Stephen & Stephanie Smith

Since 2012, the Smith family has been serving Jesus in many different ways. Stephen is a former police officer and Stephanie is a college professor. Their main witnessing platform is through medical training and food service. In their time providing medical training as missionaries, they have witnessed approximately 60 people choose to give their lives to Jesus. However, they have also served in tornado and hurricane disaster zones doing debris removal and providing food. 

In 2023, Stephen, Stephanie, and their two children spent several months in Ukraine witnessing and serving soldiers and civilians by teaching medical aid, delivering food, and helping teach English as a second language. During this time, Stephen also served as a volunteer military chaplain ministering to soldiers. In 2024, Stephen was called to travel to Beirut, Lebanon to teach trauma aid to Christian missionaries. This year, the Smith family is joining AJM, and they will go back to Ukraine to lead a team of missionaries with evacuations, humanitarian aid deliveries, and medical training. Their prayer is to always be willing to go wherever God sends them and to help save lives both spiritually and physically.
