Missionary | Oakdale, California
Hi everyone! A little about me and my testimony. I came to the Lord later in life at the age of 20 after not knowing Him growing up, but being able to see His provision in my life up until then. I grew up facing hardship in family, wracked by stress of classic “American Dream”, and emotional unhealth, I came to a breaking point of not wanting to live this lifestyle anymore. I took up my buddy Trent’s offer of a bible study and began attending a motorcycle ministry where I gave my life to the Lord.
Since that moment the Lord has blessed me with a walk experiencing the Kingdom presently at hand each and every day. It wasn’t until I took the mindset of “every moment is a ministry moment” that I really had a grasp on what it meant to be present with people and on mission. Anywhere from a simple hello, to listening to a stranger speak their mind, to praying for someone in need, or even being the guy with a truck on moving day, God is in these moments. With that said, I’ve had great opportunities to ministry in a traditional church setting through being a youth leader, hospitality, and church planning with my pastor and vision team. Outside of church, my job at Culture Coffee has been a great opportunity to really meet people where they are and have that constant reminder that people aren’t just people, they’re souls made in the image of God.
With A Jesus Mission, I’m looking forward to help launch Kingdom Coffee this summer! I fell in love with its vision of reaching local people through coffee and giving those people not only a place to meet, but Christian or not, help serve global mission through their purchases. I also have a desire to go abroad on mission but haven’t made plans just yet. I know I’m lacking perspective beyond my humble American view and would love to gain that insight and serve those in need at the same time.
Thank you all for having me a part of the family!!
