Soy Luis Manuel Tordoya Fernández, un seguidor de Jesús que sirve con el deseo de que las personas crezcan en su fe y vivan una relación real con Cristo. No busco que cada uno “encuentre su propósito personal”, sino guiarlos por medio de la Palabra a conocer y vivir el propósito de Dios.
En el año 2020 Dios me permitió atravesar una enfermedad llamada cáncer, un tiempo difícil tanto para mí como para mi familia. Ahí aprendí que el mayor reto no fue mantenerme fuerte, sino confiar, ser humilde y depender plenamente de Él. Después de cuatro meses de quimioterapia, Dios abrió una nueva etapa: pude salir de casa y servir en un ministerio llamado Talmidines, donde adolescentes estudiaban en homeschool, mientras eran discipulados y formados en la Palabra. Luego Dios abrió otra puerta para estudiar en Cajamarca, en el Instituto Bíblico Calvary Cajamarca (IBCC). Tras culminar mis estudios, pensé que hasta ahí era mi tiempo; sin embargo, Dios volvió a sorprenderme llevándome a Cusco, donde encontré familia, propósito, guía, visión y dirección. Actualmente, Dios ha puesto en mi corazón el deseo de plantar iglesias con sana doctrina, con una visión clara y trabajando con la siguiente generación para expandir el evangelio.
Creo profundamente en el valor de la humildad, el carácter bíblico, la integridad, la transparencia, el liderazgo conforme a la Escritura, la obediencia, la lealtad y el trabajo en equipo, porque estos principios son el fundamento de todo ministerio saludable y duradero. Donde Dios me ponga, ahí doy todo: no busco perfección, busco obediencia.
Sigo aprendiendo, sigo avanzando y sigo caminando con Cristo, porque vivir es Cristo, y cada día es una oportunidad para honrarlo con lo que soy y lo que hago.
I am Luis Manuel Tordoya Fernández, a follower of Jesus who serves with the desire for people to grow in their faith and experience a genuine relationship with Christ. I don’t seek to help each person “find their personal purpose,” but rather to guide them through the Word to know and live God’s purpose.
In 2020, God allowed me to go through an illness called cancer, a difficult time for both me and my family. There, I learned that the greatest challenge wasn’t staying strong, but trusting, being humble, and depending fully on Him. After four months of chemotherapy, God opened a new chapter: I was able to leave home and serve in a ministry called Talmidines, where teenagers studied at home while being discipled and trained in the Word. Then God opened another door for me to study in Cajamarca, at the Calvary Bible Institute Cajamarca (IBCC). After completing my studies, I thought that was the end of my time; however, God surprised me again by taking me to Cusco, where I found family, purpose, guidance, vision, and direction. Currently, God has placed in my heart the desire to plant churches with sound doctrine, a clear vision, and to work with the next generation to spread the gospel.
I deeply believe in the value of humility, biblical character, integrity, transparency, Scripture-based leadership, obedience, loyalty, and teamwork, because these principles are the foundation of every healthy and lasting ministry. Wherever God places me, I give my all: I don’t seek perfection, I seek obedience.
I continue learning, I continue growing, and I continue walking with Christ, because to live is to live Christ, and each day is an opportunity to honor Him with who I am and what I do.
