Growing up overseas as a missionary kid, the Lord gave me a heart for the nations, but especially a heart for TCK’s (third culture kids), at a young age. I’ve been blessed to be in missions for the past 15+ years both overseas and here, with eight of those years doing campus ministry with international university students.
I am excited to get to step into more of my giftings to care through building relationships with the kid missionaries (youth in particular) and fellow single missionaries to be a support to them. I have wanted to work with missionary kids for a long time and have in different capacities as a teacher, coach, and youth leader. But this time, my main focus will be to mentor, support, build relationships with the youth to care for them.
