Annika Westfall

I was raised in a large church in California and prayed the classic “sinners prayer” dozens of times throughout my childhood. However, it wasn’t until my teenage years that I truly surrendered my life to the Lord. I had become deeply depressed and had lost hope for the future, but the Lord stepped in and restored my hope. From that moment, I knew I was meant to dedicate my life to serving him.

 

Early in my walk with the Lord, I took part in many service opportunities, including leading worship, children’s ministry, and local outreach. While these experiences were wonderful, I felt a deeper call to commit even more of my life to service. During my final year of high school, I met several AJM missionaries who, through their actions, showed me what it truly means to dedicate one’s life fully to the Lord in service – something I had never seen before. Now, I serve as the onboarding specialist for AJM, where I have the pleasure of guiding people through the application process and helping them get set up to serve on the field.
