Lindsey Smith
Missionary Care Department : Indigenous Missionaries Lead | Colorado, USA
Lindsey grew up in a Christian home, helping on her family’s cattle ranch. In her senior year of high school, she surrendered her life to Jesus, a decision that led her to Bible college in pursuit of a deeper relationship with the Lord. There, God cultivated in her a passion for cross-cultural missions and discipleship. She later earned a degree in Biblical Counseling, further equipping her to care for and encourage others in their walk with Christ.
After college, Lindsey spent four years teaching at a Christian school which provided an open door for her to later serve as an international teacher and missionary in Southeast Asia. There she gained firsthand insight into the unique challenges cross-cultural missionaries face.
Today, Lindsey serves on A Jesus Mission’s care team and as the Indigenous Missionary Lead. Her ministry focuses on providing encouragement, counsel, and practical support to missionaries, as well as equipping the body of Christ to come alongside those called to the mission field. In her role as Indigenous Missionary Lead, she is working to develop a network of advocates to partner with indigenous missionaries, helping to ensure they are cared for and supported well as they reach their nations with the Gospel.
As Lindsey continues this ministry, she is developing a team of partners who share her heart for equipping and caring for missionaries from and to nations around the world. If you would like to be part of this mission through prayer, partnership, or advocacy, Lindsey would love to connect with you!
