GODWINS: “I am Godwins Oloo, married to Nancy Amoi, we are blessed with three children; Eliana Oloo, Elkana Oloo, and Elseena Oloo. We have been married for 13 years now.

God’s call upon my life came from a dramatic experience I had when I was 20 years old. My father had offered me as a sacrifice to his gods, claiming that I was destabilizing the family since I had given my life to the Lord. In one unforgettable evening around 7 pm Eastafrican time a demon in Human skeleton walked in the bedroom towards me to attack but before it would get hold of my neck, a human hand came through the wall and it disappeared with it. After a week my father came to where I was staying since we weren’t living in the same place with him and expressively wished the demon had killed me. I was in great shock given the fact that I had not shared the ordeal with anyone. After two weeks the Lord appeared and asked me to serve Him.

I have had the privilege of serving the Lord as a pastor in Kampala Uganda at a local church for 15 years. Now God has called my wife and I to be missionaries and to plant Roots church in Nairobi Kenya.

God has placed in our hearts the burden of reaching out to the University students, with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are currently holding Bible study, one on one prayer, counseling, Friday fellowship where we have worship, testimony sharing, teachings and snacks. We also single out potential leaders and have leadership training using materials like, Discover your Life Purpose and Lead Develop and Care materials donated to us by Pastor Matt and Brandi.

Colossians 2:6-7 “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”

NANCY: “My life and service are guided by faith in God and a desire to reflect His love through giving. I believe we are called to be vessels of compassion, generosity, and hope, supporting those in need and uplifting our communities as we point them to Christ. This giving page is an opportunity to partner together in faith — trusting that every act of kindness and every contribution can become a blessing in someone’s life. As Scripture reminds us, “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give… for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)

Thank you for joining in this mission to serve with love, humility, and gratitude to God.”
