Buddhi Man Shakya is a devoted follower of Christ who leads a life-changing children’s ministry deep in remote Himalayan mountain villages. Guided by a dedicated local team of more than 30 staff—teachers, cooks, and helpers—his ministry reaches nearly 900 children across nine learning centers, serving them six days a week.
Child Development (Redacted) is no ordinary outreach—the goal is to offer comprehensive developmental care for marginalized children:
- Daily nutritious meals (often the children’s primary source of food)
- Tutoring and academic support to boost learning
- Clean filtered water and proper sanitation facilities—both scarce in these isolated areas
- Practical hygiene training to build healthy habits
- Relational spiritual formation through Bible stories, songs of praise, and character-building lessons
Children arrive hungry, undernourished, and uncertain; they leave fed in body, growing in knowledge, cleaner in habits, and alive with hope in Jesus. The impact ripples outward—touching homes, schools, and entire villages as faith and positive change take root.
